Cansino & co is a design practice founded in 2014, based in Wellington, New Zealand. Our mission from the get-go has been to keep things simple – our approach & our process. Our model has always been to remain nimble, responsive and personal, staying lean, avoiding being mean and enjoying the journey. We have a passion for great creative that works and rely on the depth of our industry experience to deliver. Cansino & Co are an approved New Zealand All of Government Design and Advertising Service Provider.

Who we are
We are Adam & Sorelle Cansino - the studio's creative and production directors and company owners. We've worked in the design game since the 1990s when an iPhone wasn't even a thing yet. Between us, we've clocked up more than 40 years of shared experience working agency-side and as studio owners in New Zealand and across the ditch in Australia. Over our tenure, we've worked across digital, brand and advertising agencies and serviced a vast and diverse range of industry sectors.
How we roll
We work directly and closely with our clients, often iteratively and always collaboratively (hence our own ampersand-led identity). Equally as happy working in-house alongside existing design teams or leading a project from whoa to go, you’ll always be working directly with us, no juniors, no hand-downs, no palm-offs, and no lost-in-translations. We are the thinkers, the relationship holders, the do-ers (we’re on the tools), the project managers and the producers for all our jobs. We like it that way; it means at any given point, we know exactly what’s going on.

We have worked closely with a trusted network of talented independent creative and digital practitioners over the past 20 years, all experts, all experienced seniors and all very, very, very good at what they do. We build creative teams fit for the brief (not those based on our FTE skillset) - cherry-picking the very best practitioners for the job, all the while creatively directing and project managing from the big picture vision to the obsessive minutiae (we're designers after all).
